Because of the move, I’m pretty late posting my 12 of 12. Forgive me. If you don’t know what 12 of 12 is, here’s the basics: On the 12th day of each month bloggers all over the world take 12 photos throughout the day and post them on their blogs. It’s Chad Darnell’s idea, and you can see his website and a list of links here.

What a cute face! Beezus is getting big, right?
Dan and I are obsessed with these Not-A-Paper-Cup ceramic coffee mugs. They look like disposable coffee cups, but are made of glass and can be washed in the dishwasher.
Kind of a boring morning for 12 of 12...I had a meeting in Gilbert until almost 1:30. Bleh.
My office-mate is kind of disorganized, and it drives me nutso! This is what I'm greeted with each day when I arrive.
When our members arrived I took a couple of minutes to play some CandyLand. Damn, my job is hard.
We installed these lights in both bathrooms. It's kind of dark, but you can see the paint color too.
This is the beginning to a very long night. 233 is WAY too high.
My friend Lee Ann Thill writes a blog called The Butter Compartment, named after the place that most of us keep our insulin. Maybe I should create a blog called "The Mustard Shelf."
After some insulin, my blood glucose level is slowly creeping down. 196 is still too high. I'd be happy at 85 or 90.
Getting there...
Not on target, but close enough to go to bed.
Fucking Diabetes. I woke up feeling panicked and shaky, and tested. 66 is too low. I drink some Mountain Dew and wait.
Exhausting. This picture is taken after 2 a.m...which is technically the 13th, but whatever.

I did my 12 of 12 yesterday…but I only have access to the MacBook which doesn’t play nicely with my digital camera, and doesn’t have Adobe Photoshop on it. So I’ll be posting them this weekend. I swear.

Haven’t been able to do my 12 of 12 for a couple of months because of camera drama. Glad to be back.

We pushed the snooze button too many times this morning.
One of the first things I do each morning is feed and walk Olive.

This week is FALL BREAK - so the kids are in the building ALL DAY. I hung out in the game room.
This is the "snack" we fed the kids at 3:30.
I cooked some pork chops for dinner.
I can't post a 12-of-12 without a photo of Olive's face. Next month we'll have Olive and Beezus.

Last July I broke my digital camera. I really jacked it up.
That’s why I missed the 12 of 12 in August.
I was really upset about not having a digital camera because I’m not in a place to afford a new one, and I really loved my camera. But then I started thinking that when I bought the camera I had purchased a 2 year warranty. So I dug through the boxes that I have in my parents’ garage and found the warranty that was valid through December 2009.
I brought the camera into Best Buy and the Geek Squad shipped the camera off to Geek Squad headquarters.
That’s why I missed the 12 of 12 in September.
There was a little bit of drama where the camera wasn’t fixed properly, and it had to be sent away again…but the short story is this: I have my camera back, and it works!
So I’ll be taking pictures again, and I’ll be participating in the 12 of 12 tomorrow.

We went and saw WICKED last night, and the PlayBill is sitting on the counter.
It's a lazy Sunday. Dan went to a baseball game and I hung out with Olive.
For a guy that collects books, I rarely re-read them...but I had to pull this one out and re-read after a recent conversation with Dan about the book.
Olive got a bath.

Stopped at the grocery store to pick up this and that.
Freaking hot. And a good song.
If it wasn't a million degrees, it'd be prettier.
As Dan cooks dinner, I take a mini-nap on the floor. Olive is confused.
Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Didn't get a photo of dinner. It was consumed too quickly.

We replaced the "love tree" (that's a long story) with some basil. So far we haven't killed it!

I'm really bad at taking those extended-armed self-portraits. Can you tell?
I run a technology lab at a youth development agency.
Lunch time. Look at my nerdy lunch box that keeps my insulin cool.
Fridays are a pretty dark day for the recording studio. All the magic happens early in the week. The kids have gotten a lot better at editing together their shows, and we're usually done by the middle of the week.
After lunch quiet time. I've been playing "retro" cartoons for the kids. Today it was Dennis The Menace. Last week we watched Flintstones. It's hard to tell, but the 5 & 6 year-olds are lying on the floor under the screen.
That's Señor Lawson, to you.
How could you hate coming home to that face?
This is why my boyfriend is skinny. How the hell do you not eat Peeps that have been in the kitchen since Easter?!
I made Jumbalaya (from the box).
I went to sit down with my dinner in front of the television, and look who stole my seat!
After dinner Dan went to his office, and I waited for him to finish his work so we could watch a movie.
Hmm...I'm one picture short. Hey, that flour looks interesting.

She was waiting for me when I woke up.
Early on Easter morning. I jump in the car and head way out to my parent’s house. They live in the middle of no where.
I got there at about 10:30 a.m.
Those malt ball Easter candies are so tempting!
My 15-year-old nephew is in that too-cool-for-school phase right now. He spent most of the day on my parent’s computer.
He was on the computer, so I used my phone to tweet.
I haven’t worn this sweatshirt in a while…primarily because I’m no longer an herbivore.
Big sis cooking.
We all wanted to play Rumikub, but it’s been so long since we played that we started arguing over the rules.
I won 2 out of the 3 games we played.
Came home and edited the 12th episode of the Sweet Talk podcast.
Made dinner for me and Daniel. Seriously, it tasted better than it looked.

Remember that tomorrow is the 12th of the month, so you should do 12 of 12 with me and a ton of other people.
The instructions are easy:
- Wake up
- Turn on your camera
- Snap 12 photos throughout the day
- Blog those photos
- Go to Chad’s webpage
- Add a link to your blog post with the 12 pictures
- Make new friends
Seriously, on the 12th, 13th and 14th of the month I see a wave of traffic sent to me from Chad’s site. And I get a bunch of comments and emails from really friendly people that have done their own 12 of 12s.
Don’t miss out.
