On the 12th day of each month bloggers from all over the world take 12 photos of their day. The 12 of 12 project was Chad’s idea, and you can go to his website to see the links of all the people who participated this month.
And you can see all of my 12 of 12s by going to my 12 of 12 page.
Here are my photos from February 12, 2011.
I woke up not feeling so well. When you wake up at 4am, that happens a lot. Then I started vomiting like crazy. I went home early from work.
I went home and climbed back into bed and caught up on some Glee.
I tried drinking steamed sugar-free vanilla milk…but I couldn’t keep it down.
I tried eating Cheez-Its…but I couldn’t keep them down.
More Glee. I haven’t really watched since November when I broke up with Drew.
I gave the Teeee-Veee a break and decided to read a little.
Have you guys seen the kid-art that I’ve framed and put in a 3×3 grid on my wall?
I gave up on Glee for a bit and turned on my favorite news/opinion program.
When I’m sick, my insulin needs are nutzz! At noon I hadn’t eaten in like fifteen hours and vomited up most of what I DID eat…and my blood glucose level was 222.
When you’re sick in bed, your 12 of 12 really sucks. I didn’t have a lot of things to take photos of. These are the pictures I made that are on my closet door.
At around 11pm I finally got some Chicken & Rice soup to stay down.
What an exhausting day…I’d better hit the hay.

I woke up and had some really yummy Casi Cielo. So good.
I worked at Starbucks with my two favorite partners (we call our co-workers “partners”) and one kept leaving us notes here and there.
Ugh. That’s the schedule.
More notes.
Off to the Club. This sign was recently posted outside of the property. Perhaps this is a sign that I need to start job searching.
Email.
Oh god…have you played Just Dance on the Wii? The teens love it…and my favorite song is Big Girl by Mika.
More coffee?? I know…I’ve got addictions.
Wasting time on Facebook. Are you my friend?
I’m starting to love this show. I had trouble getting into it before…but it’s grown on me.
I wanted to take a photo of dinner before I ate it, then I forgot and stuffed my face. This is what was left.
Some heavy reading before bed.

I’ve filled up my coffee passport. I’ve come to realize that I like BOLD coffees. I’m partial to beans from Africa. I love the unwashed beans over washed and semi-washed. Nerdy.
My house smells like this.
This little Piggy went to Del Taco. Michael and I went to lunch together…and I’d like to say that the food in the picture belonged to both of us. But, this is just mine. Oink.
I wish that I blogged more often.
Grey undershirt. Grey sweater. Grey jeans. I feel like Eeyore.
Nice AZ sunset.
To make up for the crappy lunch I ate a crappy dinner. Who said salad is healthy??
Gag. This end cap reminds me of an episode of The Game Night Guys.
I’m hoping the second in the series is better than the first.
Fang banger! This is an incredibly moving scene on True Blood just after Sookie’s Grandma’s funeral.
A night-time pot of coffee.
Writing and sipping. Perfect end to a good weekend. Night y’all.

Up early…and in a haze. It’s funny that the photo is a bit hazy too. I got up at 4:45. Bleh.

Job #2….putting gas in the van for our field trip. It’s fall break at the Club, so kids are here from sun-up to sun-down. God help me.

Took them to the Zoo. I snapped this picture when they were looking at someone else’s camera.

I have no idea what those are.

Exhausted.

These are our Halloween decorations. Kind of lame, right?

So I stopped by Dunkin’ to get my free coffee. And I guess that I’m turning into a coffee snob, because it didn’t taste as good as the espresso I’ve been drinking.

Showered and changed my clothes for date night with Drew. That’s my 2010 Census “We Count” shirt, btw.

I had to dump the coffee out. I refilled it with the sugar-free stuff I used in my diabetic daiquiri recipe.

Drew’s not feeling well…but he has a good fake smile.

Dinner. (J/K)

Chole’s pooped. So am I. Goodnight.

Here are my photos from September 12, 2010. I accidentally forgot my digital camera at my office, so these were taken on my cell phone.

This is my traveling insulin/meter…I keep old syringes in here because I throw them away in my sharps container at home. Needless to say, it’s been a while since I’ve cleaned this thing out!

I forgot what game we were playing this morning, and I had to pull out my calendar to check. Trivial Pursuit (spelled incorrectly).
Brian…the blogger at CheapBlueGuitar.com and the podcaster at GameNightGuys.com. We’re recording an episode of Game Night Guys…and I may or may not be hungover.
My blood glucose level was really HIGH.
This is my new hair. Every few months I have a bad hair day and just shave it all off.
Chloe.
On our way to Breakfast/Lunch I snapped this one of the Westward Ho…this building in Downtown Phoenix was in the opening scene of Psycho.
We did Breakfast at the 5th Avenue Cafe…which is a cheap and yummy place to nurse a hangover. That’s Drew; he didn’t know I was taking his picture.
OH. EM. GEE. This is the first time my Google Reader has been cleared out since March/April. Wow.
Returning a Redbox movie for my parents.
I’m deep into Dave Eggers You Shall Know Our Velocity, and I’m actually really enjoying it. I’ll blog about the book once I finish it.
I’ve been high all day (not in a good way)…and I finally came down a bit right before bed. Thank god.

Here are my photos from August 12, 2010:

I had to iron my shirt before going to work. I hate ironing.

Pandora in the car.

Pretty slow day at work. I only had one appointment.

This is the drawing I posted with yesterday’s blog post.

I’ve been weighing myself every day before lunch because I want to graph my bizarro weight fluctuation. Maybe I’ll post the graph here in a few days.

I had every intention of photographing my lunch, but I was too hungry and I ate it before remembering. So instead you get this.

Ditto.

I’m running the homework room for this week and next. Fun.

I met up with Daniel for coffee after work. Except Lola closes super early for some reason. Dumb. We sat outside and talked for a little while.

Dinner with Drew.

Big Brother before bed.

And I must have a dog picture, don’t I? This is Ms. Chloe.

Our art instructor is out at the Club, and I “created” this art project for one of our junior staff to run with the children. This is just chalk and white paint.

I don’t have permission to post this kid’s picture. But her shirt was funny.

This is my announcement board for the summer. I’m really bad at making bulletin boards.

This is our junior staff teaching children how to do the art project I came up with.

I had to stay late because our teen director is in Europe for the month. Boo! So I kicked back at her desk and put my feet all over her crap.

So I was going to try to do an entire week of drinking nothing but water. Only a special few knew about the water-only week…and I’ve yet to tell them I’ve failed.

I <3 Arizona sky. This is an ugly picture of it…but I need to use it to make an even twelve.

When I got home I put on my nerd outfit.

Strips.

This pin is on my meter case.

Embarrassingly high.

I crawled into bed with Hunter S. Thompson’s Rum Diary.

After working out I went to my favorite place in Tempe…the Public Library. And this visit earned me the mayorship on Foursquare.

I ended up getting a book on CD (a book I’ve read about five times…don’t ask) and the newest James Patterson paperback.

Nobody has ever been able to give me a definitive answer to this very important question: is it legal to drive while listening to an iPod?

I stopped at work to get some crap done that I knew I wouldn’t have time to do next week. Summer Camp is both fun and exhausting. Eleven hour workdays are draining.

This is my in-box. Half of it just needs to be filed away. The other half is crap I haven’t had time to look at yet.

Stopped and had coffee with Drew at Lola Coffee in Phoenix.

I love this building. Hanny’s is an old department store that they’ve turned into a restaurant/bar. Totally over-priced but the building is freaking cool.

Too many people are tweeting about and Facebook about soccer. Totally bugs. Maybe I’m just jealous that I don’t get it.

Thanks to a review on Yelp, Drew and I found a quaint Vietnamese place that was delicious and cheap as hell.

This is Chloe. She is too hyper to sit still for pictures. This is the best one out of about 100.

I hate the term “night-cap” to describe an alcoholic beverage sipped right before bed or at the end of an evening. Therefore I will not use that term to describe this Coke Zero and Vodka beverage that was consumed before calling it a night.

The ever-so persistent D. Gotta check my blood before bed.

I got in late on the 11th, and ended up sleeping in until 8am. Usually I like to LEAVE by 8am.

My mom is on a prayer chain, and writes notes like these that she keeps in her pockets and pulls out to pray for people when she is bored.

My nerdy dinosaur shirt has transitioned into a gym shirt.

Almost empty.

Thirty dollars later.

This stuff is amazing.

After the gym I remembered that I have earned a free medium iced coffee. Yippee for customer-loyalty programs!

I’ve got connections. Instead of a medium, my pals at Dunkin hooked me up with a large.

Because of the large number of podcasts I’m listening to every day, I have to update this little thing daily.

Aubrey painted me this water-color. This picture doesn’t even do the colors justice…it’s a pretty painting. It’s hard to see it, but there is someone leaving the scene on the far left. All you can see is the dude’s foot.

The pretty drive home.

So I’ve been dating this book for a few days, and it’s getting really serious really fast. We slept together last night.

Here are my photos from April 12, 2010.

The mornings start early for me. Even though I don't have to be to work until 11, I get up early to take care of the dooogs.

Beezus LOVES Olive's dog bed more than her own.

We've finally unpacked all of my nuns. This one is sitting on my desk and I snapped a shot while working on some stuff for iEATbooks.

When I went to get a coffee refill, this is what I found.

We have a county head-start program in our building, and I believe this was posted by a pre-school teacher.

Tweeting about my 12 of 12.

My officemate is being super healthy...and I'm not. Guess which beverage belongs to who.

At home we filled two gumball machines with wine corks and beer caps.

And we framed 9 of Dan's Dad's records. We're going to hang them in a grid.

This is Dan telling me all about his day in jury duty. He got picked to be on a jury...and it's going to be a long one. And he'll be able to write a John Grisham-like novel about his experiences.

Meatloaf before bed.
