Saturday night I took Drew to dinner and the conversation that happened after just lead us to this point. I didn’t have any intention of breaking up with him when we sat down, but after talking I figured out that he wasn’t able to give me what I needed from him at this point. So it’s over.
Totally sad and heartbreaking…becuase he’s a freaking great guy. It just didn’t work out.
I know some of his friends read my blog (hi). And I know that you guys are team Drew…but I hope you still come around and read and invite me places.

That sucks, but hopefully you’ll find a guy who can provide you what you’re looking for. Sometimes, two parties in a relationship are in different places and putting them together just doesn’t work if they’re not on the same page — that can be a disaster. However, if it’s meant to be, it might happen in the future, it’s best not to push it until he’s ready, too — stranger things have happened.

Sad face. And like Scott said, if it wasn’t meant to be it wasn’t meant to be. Just keep your head up. You’re such a wonderful bloke, and I think that anyone that is willing to let you go didn’t deserve you in the first place. Someday your prince will come.

Sorry Mike.
If I lived closer I’d take you out for a yellow thanksgiving blend coffee in an attempt to make you feel better. I’d also bring some pen needles for you. Yellow coffee and pen needles aren’t my usual cure for heartache, but in your case I’ll make an exception.
