This is the one from Rebekah Roberts.

I got an email today that says “Hi Mike, Here’s the pictures of you and Karl that you wanted. We’re on holiday this week so apologies for not getting them to you sooner.”
And then this picture is attached:

I have no idea who either of these people are. And I do know that one of them is a Mike Lawson (I’m hoping it’s the more handsome gentleman on the left).
As you may remember, I often get emails intended for someone else. Any suggestions on how to respond to this one?

Ask them if they’re from your future, this could be you in a few decades!

I’d do it with a ridiculous amount of bubbly excitement and energy, and then let her know that you don’t know who either of the people in the photo are. “But is seems like an AWESOME time!”
You could also score points with any friends who like the Silver Fox type by getting contact info for the guy in the blue shirt, too …

Clearly, they meant it for another Mike Lawson, and while the silver fox item might be interesting, I don’t get the impression that there is interest from you or the sender (although one never knows!). Just respond politely saying that although you are Mike Lawson, you are not the Mike Lawson they think you are because you have no idea of who the dudes in the picture are.
