This week I will tell you the story of a flight from Orange County’s John Wayne Airport to Phoenix’s Sky Harbor that seems entirely too coincidental to actually be true. But it is.

As a vegetarian and a member of the Deaf community, when I heard this: “so you give a coupon for a free hamburger to a vegetarian?! That’s like telling a Deaf person a joke!” I nearly pissed myself laughing.
It is pretty ludicrous… (and funny).
Mike, I love you to bits, please take this with a grain of salt. I think hearing people need a little Deaf awareness. Every time you bring up the Deaf you kinda put your foot in your mouth. I know that the comment didn’t originate with you… but jeez. Deaf people aren’t stupid, they just can’t hear. And if you speak facing them, then they can mostly lipread. (stepping down from soapbox)
