Dan, the best boyfriend in the world, purchased season tickets for the ASU Gammage theater’s 09/10 Broadway season. This is basically the place where the traveling Broadway productions stop in Phoenix. The 7 shows we’ll be seeing are:
Mike Lawson likes to tell mostly true stories. He’s been known to, on very rare occasions, embellish some of his stories with what some would call lies. He works all day at a youth-serving non-profit organization in Tempe, Arizona.
He’s a total nerd that isn’t really even worth knowing, unless you want to talk books or politics. He’s more Thelma than Louise. More Jerry than Tom. More Fred than Ethel. More Randy than Simon.
He loves caffeine, attention, Photoshop, progressive politics, seeing results, eating entirely too fast, contemporary fiction, seeing kids reach their potential and knowing the answer to people’s questions.
He hates Charlie horses, realizing it’s already Sunday, social injustice and Celine Dion.

Fun! Sounds like a fantastic time. You’ll have to tell me what you think of Avenue Q once you see it. I haven’t seen a lot of Broadway shows, but I loved Avenue Q before I ever saw it and just had the music. The little kid in me who wore his Marry Poppons VHS out is totally jealous.
