		<description>I guess this must be something to do with where someone lives; I live in NYC, and I can usually log into no fewer than 5 different wireless networks from my own apartment (all without password protection), but in order to ensure I&#039;m not slogged down by bandwidth-suckers from next door, its a virtual necessity to password protect your own wireless networks here, or your connection would be slooooow.  But if I lived in a less densely populated area, that might not ever be seen as a necessity.  Good advice, though!
