This is the one about Steinbeck, Bronte, Salinger, and the gang.

[books]
We got a grip of books donated to the club last week that were taken off the shelves of the LA Public Library. I got permission to snag a few, and I went with a handful of “classics” that I have never read:
** Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll
** Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
** Go Ask Alice by Anonymous
** The Pearl by John Steinbeck
** Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
** The Catcher In The Rye by Salinger (which I’ve read…but my copy is packed away in boxes, and I was thinking of re-reading)
The perks of this job!
