This is the one where I share my mantra.
Each year I try to pick a mantra that becomes a reoccuring theme in the decisions I make. Last year’s mantra was, “You know what you want; don’t settle.”
This year my mantra is, “Don’t dream it; Be it.”
If you’re familiar with The Rocky Horror Picture Show, you might recognize that line from Frank’s finale song.
So this year, don’t dream it…be it.
My friend Phillip helped me pick the mantra when we were talking about RHPS a couple of weeks ago. The reason I’m blogging it now is because he just sent me an .mp3 of the mantra, and it’s pretty good. I wanted to share.

I didn’t realize until reading it again here that my mantras always have semicolons. Stupid.

I’m sticking with “Nothing really matters” for the third year in a row.

“God Bless Lily St. Cyr!”
GREAT Mantra … it’s been mine for years! (Love me some Rocky Horror!)
