So I’ve been officially invited to join the Google Voice family, and I’m struggling to pick my number.  Thanks to all of you Phoenix bitches that stole all the (602) area codes on the first round of beta testing.

So now I’m toying with a “vanity” number.  Something like (913)3-Lawson.

I’ll let you know what I go with when I get it.

If you don’t know about Google Voice, it’s this pretty cool thing that lets you pick a number that you’ll be stuck with FOREVER…and you can easily go online and setup your calls to forward to your home or office or cell.  And it also transcribes your voicemails into text messages and sends them over.  Flipping cool, right?
