This is the one that is annoying.

Sorry.jpg

I hate to do this, really…but comment spam is overwhelming me here at WhatSomeWouldCallLies.com.   And in an effort to make things more difficult for spam bots I’ve installed one of those annoying word-verification systems.

I really hate word-verification.  I always type the words incorrectly.   So all of the words in my word-bank are easy to see and type.

If you can think of some fun words that you’d like to add to the word bank leave them in the comments and I’ll add them.  It must be a single word (no spaces), and I won’t add profanity or words longer than 8 letters.  What are your suggestions?

I always giggle when I hear the word “panties” I don’t know why it just seems silly to me

Hahah I love that nun was the first word I had to type. Do you not use akismet or any such similar plug-in to battle spam? Akismet is a godsend!!

How about “turtle?” At least the real-word verification is pretty easy, compared to random numbers and letters. Thank you for that–enjoying your blog and vids, btw!

I use askimet or whatever the hell it is called, and it has caught every single piece of spam. I don’t know what I would do without that plugin.

Smile is great. I refreshed a few times to see what words would come out. DO you create the audio files that go with the words? I think that words similar to smile (grin, rejoice, laugh) are also cool.

I use Askimet as well and if you can get it for your blog I definitely recommend it. It rocks. If you can’t then potato is a good word. :) No particular reason, it just came to mind. hah.
