Occasionally I’ll get teased when a friend realizes that I’ve got a collection of television theme songs on my iPod. So?

There are some really good theme songs of yesteryear that I don’t wish to forget any time soon. How many have you forgotten? Listen to these 15 theme songs, and tell me that it doesn’t throw you back to the 80s.

Keep track of how many you can correctly guess the name of the television show that it comes from. Click the link at the end of this post to see the correct answers. Share your score with me in the comments (honor system).

OK, so I totally put the same show for 2 and 8, they sound like the exact same song! I ended up getting 13 out of 15 which should be respectable but I’m totally ashamed of (2 and 6 were wrong). BTW, 12 and 14 brought the biggest smiles to my face!

How did you get #6 wrong? It’s only one of the best theme songs ever!!

I think that 13/15 is a pretty good score. 2 & 8 are very similar…I’ll give you that.

Ah memories. It is true though, TV theme songs make good ringtones.

    The Time Warp

Mike (who I absolutely adore, and if he were straight I would be crushing on him SO hard) over at What Some Would Call Lies is having a fun little 80’s Theme Song Quiz.
I’m sure most of you don’t remember the 80’s since you were…

How many did I get right? I can’t even remember. Not as many has you had thought, but I guess I didn’t do too terribly?
