I’ve been doing surprisingly well when it comes to watching the AFI list.  Working from home has been really accommodating to me completing this task.  I can just sit on one computer and half-watch a movie on the other.

My best movie that I hadn’t seen before attempting to complete the AFI list was Casablanca.  I mean of course I knew it was good…but I didn’t think that I would like it as much as I did.  Network was pretty good too–an interesting concept that was perhaps a bit more prophetic than anyone had imagined back when it first came out.

If you’re doing the AFI list, how are you doing?  If you’re not doing the list, why the hell not?

The list is updated each year, but many of the same movies are on it.  So next year I will only have to watch the few additions if I haven’t seen them.
