I’ve mentioned this before: I have a huge love of sitcom theme songs. It’s sad that TV airtime is too valuable to waste on a good lengthy theme song. Instead we get stuff like this from Courtney Cox’s new show Cougar Town:

Here’s another ABC show. Their intro is slightly longer but still ridiculously short. It’s from Modern Family.
This is what a theme song should look like. In my opinion, one of the best on TV right now. From The Office:
On the same note, probably written by same of the same folks (don’t quote me on that) is Parks and Recreation:

I like a theme song that allows you to recognize what the show is without even looking at the TV.
