This is the one with the kid’s Xmas list.
Today at work a kid got caught working on this when he was supposed to be working on homework. I had to confiscate it, but after scanning it I gave it back to him.

Mike Lawson likes to tell mostly true stories. He’s been known to, on very rare occasions, embellish some of his stories with what some would call lies. He works all day at a youth-serving non-profit organization in Tempe, Arizona.
He’s a total nerd that isn’t really even worth knowing, unless you want to talk books or politics. He’s more Thelma than Louise. More Jerry than Tom. More Fred than Ethel. More Randy than Simon.
He loves caffeine, attention, Photoshop, progressive politics, seeing results, eating entirely too fast, contemporary fiction, seeing kids reach their potential and knowing the answer to people’s questions.
He hates Charlie horses, realizing it’s already Sunday, social injustice and Celine Dion.

I think I love that:
a) he erased the gun idea
b) number 12 necessitated an exclamation! Must be a very good notebook.
c) kids still want pogo sticks.
